Property Brokers has announced an exciting merger with Tait Real Estate, a long-standing Whangārei-based company, to expand their real estate offerings in Northland. Known for its dedication to serving provincial communities, Property Brokers sees this alignment with Tait Real Estate, one of Te Tai Tokerau’s most respected real estate brands, as an ideal fit.
Property Brokers’ managing director, Guy Mordaunt, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, which officially begins on November 15. He believes that combining Property Brokers’ resources and experience with Tait’s local expertise will strengthen real estate services throughout Northland, particularly in Whangārei and Kaipara.
“We’re excited to welcome the Tait Real Estate team to the Property Brokers family,” Mordaunt said. “The owners, John and Jenny Fairley, along with their talented team, have long been committed to making a positive impact across Whangārei and the Kaipara Districts. We look forward to growing together and providing even better support to our clients in Northland.”
Since 1960, Tait Real Estate has established itself as a trusted name in Whangārei and Kaipara, especially in residential, rural, and commercial sectors. Tait’s legacy includes projects like the Okara Shopping Centre and Gumdigger Place – community landmarks in Whangārei. The Fairleys are excited to blend this rich history with Property Brokers’ resources, bringing a new level of service to their clients.
“Partnering with Property Brokers allows us to adopt new technology and marketing tools while still delivering the personal, accountable service that our clients know and trust,” say the Fairleys. “Property Brokers shares our dedication to total client satisfaction, so we’re thrilled to align with a company that values professionalism and community as much as we do.”
Beth Tweedie, a licensee salesperson with Tait Real Estate, has stepped into the role of branch manager for the newly combined team. She looks forward to being part of a family-owned business that prioritises community well-being.
“It’s fantastic to join a company committed to achieving better outcomes for the community,” says Tweedie. “The synergy between Property Brokers and Tait is clear, and we’re excited to enhance our service in Northland by combining our teams, who genuinely care about the people of provincial New Zealand.”
Simon Short, Property Brokers’ regional manager for South Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Northland, echoed the excitement. “This merger is more than just a blending of names; it’s a shared vision for outstanding real estate services in Northland. Our clients will benefit from enhanced expertise and a unified, larger team.”
