About Sam
Sam is a born and bred Dannevirke boy, having grown up on his family's sheep and beef farm at Weber, east of Dannevirke where he developed a love and understanding of rural life. Consequently, he is aware of the needs of the people in rural communities and what makes them tick.
After playing rugby in the USA and completing a commerce degree at Otago University with a major in marketing, Sam has eight years of experience in rural retail, being instrumental in the start-up and management of a major rural supply company based in Dannevirke. This allowed Sam to establish a large client base and developed his customer service focus.
Moving into rural real estate has been a natural progression, utilising his marketing credentials, a large number of contacts and his knowledge of the district and its features creating some real benefits to the business of selling farms and lifestyle properties.
Partner to Lizzie, they live on a lifestyle block outside Dannevirke, when not at work Sam follows his many varied interests, including running his own Manuka Honey business, as well as following sport, chasing a deer around the hills or even perfecting Amazing Grace on the bagpipes.
Sam prides himself on creating positive relationships with his clients, enabling all parties to achieve their goals and achieve success. He looks to provide a quality service with a fresh approach to rural real estate.
