Is it possible to change your real estate salesperson when selling your home?


In short, yes. Is it straightforward to do? Well, yes and no. When selling your home, you can change your real estate salesperson by terminating your listing agreement with your current salesperson and signing a new listing agreement with a different one. You may, however, need to pay any commission or fees outlined in the original agreement, even if you switch salespeople before the sale is complete. It's a good idea to review the terms of your agreement and have a conversation with your current salesperson before deciding to switch.
