The Property Brokers Manawatū Jets are a professional basketball team playing in the New Zealand National Basketball League. In 1992 the Jets made it to their first NBL Grand Final and made another in 2020! They represent the Manawatū region with pride and give everything they have to give to play their home games at Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Initially known as the Palmerston North Jets, they changed their name to the Manawatū Jets for the 2002 season to represent the wider region. After a couple of years out of the league, they re-entered for the 2018 season.
Their vision now centres on community - primarily in what they can offer kids in their community. The kids who play in the playgrounds around the region, in their school yards, at the Arena, and in weeknight competitions. Their vision for them is opportunity. They’re opening doors for every Manawatū child who aspires to play basketball at the highest level.
