About Margaret
Having come from a background in Law and with 13 years working in the New Zealand Insurance and Finance industry, my husband Noel and I have settled into Oamaru and for the past three years have been lovingly restoring an 1858 villa. The Oamaru people have been very welcoming, and we have actively immersed ourselves in the uniqueness of this historical town. We have continued to join clubs and committees to give back to the community.
The legal world is fraught with constant change and involves deciphering your way through understanding and applying the law. A background in law brings the skills needed to work through any unforeseen challenges and legal obligations that can seem daunting to most people. In real estate I see myself as your advocate, who while protecting your interests in everything I do, introduces buyers to you, hosts your open homes or private visits and/or engages with someone on your behalf in the negotiation of the sale price of your home.
My passion for people means I am totally customer service focused, and have always prided myself on being honest, working hard, being optimistic yet realistic and thinking outside the square to achieve successful results. As your real estate agent, I will guide you through the process, keep you informed, communicate clearly and do my utmost to keep all information concise and understandable.
