Grant McIlroy
Rural/Lifestyle Sales Consultant
About Grant
Grant started his first rural journey on 6th December 1971 with Otago Farmers Co-op. He alluded to the fact that he had come through the school of hard knocks and was taught the real values of business etiquette while working for the Otago Farmers in the Catlins, Middlemarch and Ranfurly
areas for over a 25-year period.
Grant and his wife Betty have lived in the Darfield area for over 30 years. They have three married sons and six grandchildren. Grant is very community orientated, supporting the Darfield rugby club whilst also being a long-time member of the Lions Club International. Digging graves while involved with the Owaka Lions in the Catlins was a job not all could handle, but Grant saw it as another community project benefiting from the money paid.
Real Estate was his next challenge and eight years on he is enjoying the role with Property Brokers as a Rural and Lifestyle Sales Consultant. His background in the rural sector shows through with his mindful and competitive approach, which is fuelled by achieving the best result possible. His results have allowed him to become a member of the Multimillion Dollar sales team.
Grant also enjoys the Property Brokers professional rural team approach, working together with four other colleagues from various professional rural backgrounds such as rural finance, farm management, dairy and lifestyle. This allows Grant, with one of his colleagues alongside him, to take you through a pathway to marketing your property and allowing us to achieve a positive and professional result.
