About Chris
Christine Maynard has lived and worked in the Bay of Plenty region for the last 15 years and in real estate since 2018 and proudly calls Whakatane her home. She says moving to the coastal town has been her best move yet.
Having previously worked in Central Otago and Australia, she has had a diverse career in hospitality and tourism. She has also owned a restaurant and helped manage a vineyard and winery in Central Otago before deciding to take the plunge into real estate and give a career in Property Management a go. “You never know what your day will bring,” she says, “it’s never boring.”
Now proudly part of the Property Brokers Whakatane Property Management team, Christine says, “It’s a real team environment where everyone, from the top down, looks out for one another and fosters the best out of you.”
When she’s not busy looking after our landlords and tenants, you can find Christine exploring the outdoors, either by enjoying the serenity of the local lakes while out trout fishing or taking in the surrounding bush
by foot or on a Mountain Bike. Having also taken part in local events such as the Spirited Woman and Wander Woman adventure races and the annual Tois Challenge four times, there’s not much she can’t do.
Love, health, and life are the best awards, but Ocean Fishing and exploring our beautiful region are a close second.
