Property Brokers is giving you the chance to win a share of $30,000 worth of groceries (Promotion). Book a free sales or rental property appraisal by completing the Promotion entry form at www.pb.co.nz/freefood during the Promotion Period for your chance to win!

PROMOTION PERIOD

1. The Promotion starts on Monday, 30th September 2024 and ends at 11:59 pm on Saturday, 9th November 2024 (Promotion Period).

HOW TO ENTER AND ELIGIBILITY

2. To enter the Promotion, a participant must be:

a. eligible under the Promoter's Standard Promotion or Competition Rules below; and

b. 18 years of age or older.

3. To enter, participants must complete the Promotion entry form at www.pb.co.nz/freefood during the Promotion Period.  

4. One entry per property appraisal per Eligible Entrant. All duplicate entries will be void. See date for Prize draw in clause 8.  

PRIZES

5. There are ten major prizes of a $2,000 grocery voucher (Prize) to be won. In addition, 62 branch prizes valued at $200 each will be won. Total prize pool equals $32,400.

6. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, which is suffered or sustained arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Prize Draw.  

7. Where third parties supply goods or services, the Promoter does not warrant the quality of such goods and/or services or their suitability. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify a consumer's rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

8. Prize winners will be drawn:

a. on Wednesday, 13th November, from all eligible entries received by the Promoter between 30th September and 11:59 pm on 9th November 2024.

9. Each Winner will win one Prize.  

10. The Promoter will contact each Winner via phone and email using the details provided at the point of entry. If the Winner does not respond to the Promoter to claim their Prize within 5 days, the Prize will be forfeited with no claim to compensation, and the Promoter may award the Prize to an alternate winner. The Promoter is not responsible if the Winner does not receive emails for any reason, including (without limitation) because an email appeared in a winner's spam folder.

11. The Winner must collect the Prize from their closest Property Brokers Branch unless otherwise arranged. If the Winner is unable to claim the Prize for any reason, the Winner will forfeit the Prize with no claim to compensation.

OTHER TERMS

12. The Promoter's decisions on all entry and Promotion matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

14. These terms and conditions, including the entry mechanism, Promotion Period and prizes, may be amended at any time.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or extend the Promotion at any time.

16. The Promoter will collect and hold personal information provided by you when you enter this Promotion for the purposes of this Promotion and future promotional purposes. If you are a winner, the Promoter may pass your personal information to a third party for prize fulfilment. All personal information provided to the Promoter will be held and used by the Promoter's privacy policy (Property Brokers. - Privacy Policy).

17. By entering the Promotion, you accept these Specific Promotion Rules, the Standard Promotion or Competition Rules below and the Promoter's website terms of access and privacy policy.

STANDARD PROMOTION OR COMPETITION RULES

Definitions 'PB' and 'Property Brokers' refer to all companies in the Property Brokers Group, including but not limited to Property Brokers Limited and all brands and operating companies controlled by or associated with these entities.

The 'Promoter' is Property Brokers' Disqualified Participants' are:

a. all Property Brokers employees

ENTRY

18. These Promotion or Competition Rules ('the Rules') apply to all Property Brokers Promotions or Competitions (collectively the 'Promotion') conducted using any medium – online, radio, print, or a connected device. 2. If a particular Promotion has specific rules or terms ('the 'Specific Rules') those Specific Rules will apply if there is any inconsistency with the Rules.

19. Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Rules, registration, entry or vote is limited to 1 per person per property. Where multiple registrations, entries or votes are acceptable, each must be made separately.

20. Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of the Rules and the Specific Rules and confirmation that the entrant has the necessary authority (for example, from the bill payer or owner of a property) to enter the Promotion.

21. No purchase is necessary to win or participate in the Promotion, unless specified in the Specific Rules.

22. The Promotion is open to New Zealand Residents only. Disqualified Participants may not enter in the Promotion.

23. Property Brokers reserve the right to exclude any person from participating in the Promotion on reasonable grounds.

24. Property Brokers reserve the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who Property Brokers decide (at their discretion) has violated the Rules (including the Specific Rules), gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.

25. By participating, entrants grant Property Brokers exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, videos, voices and likenesses in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.

26. All entrant personal details must be valid and up to date. They will be held by Property Brokers and may be used for the purpose of the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes in accordance with Property Brokers' Privacy Policy (see www.pb.co.nz) unless otherwise directed by contestants at the time of entry.

27. Personal information provided at the time of entry is presumed to be true and, in the case of text or email notification – active, through to and beyond the date of the Promotion's completion.

28. a. The telephone number from which the entry was made will be stored in a database. The entrant has a two-business-day period from the time of entry to request removal from the database. If no request is made it is deemed acceptance that the information can be used for future promotion and marketing purposes; and

b. Property Brokers take no responsibility for text costs incurred after the Promotion has closed as stipulated in the Specific Rules.

WINNING THE PRIZE

29. Only the person who originally entered the Promotion can be awarded the Prize (the 'Winner').

30. The Winner will be determined in the manner set out in the Rules or the Specific Rules – if not specified, then as determined by the Promoter who shall for this purpose be deemed the Judge (the 'Judge').

31. The Judge's determination of the Winner will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

32. The Winner will be notified by phone and/or email and must be available to prepare for all publicity that Property Brokers may require. Where attempts to contact the Winner fail (e.g. when the Winner cannot be contacted after five business days) the Judge will select another winner. If, after successful notification, the Prize is not collected within two weeks of being announced, it will be regarded as forfeit. (Note: 3 attempts to contact the Winner will include individual calls and/or emails to any numbers and email addresses provided at the time of entry.

33. The Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Winner's behalf. In the event that the Prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute a prize of like or equal value.

34. The Winner takes the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies Property Brokers in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the Prize. The Winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other costs that may be associated with the Prize. Where the Prize has associated terms and conditions, the Winner accepts the Prize subject to those terms, conditions, and restrictions.

35. The Prize will be sent out within 14 working days if not discussed otherwise.

36. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Property Brokers will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or winning the Prize.

37. Where the Prize is to be supplied by an entity outside Property Brokers' control and that entity fails, for whatever reason, to supply the Prize, Property Brokers has no responsibility for the provision of the Prize and is not obliged to provide an alternative prize or to take legal action to require the Prize supplier to provide the Prize.

ACCEPTANCE

38. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

39. If the Winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions, the Prize will be forfeited.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - GROCERY SWEEPSTAKES SOCIAL GIVEAWAY

1. Promotional Period: The giveaway will run from 14th October 2024 to 21st October 2024. Entries received after this period will not be eligible.

2. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to all residents of provincial New Zealand aged 18 and over. 

3. How to Enter: To enter, participants must: Watch the relevant promotional video (fruit, veggies, cans, real estate brands, or spreads treadmill races). Comment with their guess for the winner in the comments section of the post. Participants may enter multiple times across different posts and videos. Each guess on a different post/video counts as a separate entry.

4. Prize: The prize is a $100 food voucher, which is not redeemable for cash or transferable to other individuals. The voucher will be posted to the winner's address.

5. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the promotional period. The winner will be contacted via Facebook Messenger by Property Brokers within 5 days of the closing date (no later than 26th October 2024).

6. Scam Warning:  Please be aware of scammers. Property Brokers will never ask for your personal details through an external link. We will only contact the winner directly via Messenger. Do not click on any suspicious links claiming to be part of this giveaway. If you're unsure, contact us directly through our National Facebook page.

7. Claiming the Prize: The winner must provide a valid New Zealand postal address to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, Property Brokers reserves the right to select a new winner at random.

8. Publicity: By entering the giveaway, participants agree to allow Property Brokers to use their name and comment for promotional purposes on social media.

9. General Conditions: Property Brokers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice. Property Brokers' decisions regarding all matters related to the giveaway are final and binding.
